CityMD West 57th Urgent Care - NYC

The PA attending to me was top notch. The facility needs some help. Loud dance music in the reception area isn’t calming. Maybe something instrumental? Classical? The blood pressure cuff used on me was hanging from the wall and dangling in an open garbage can. A tech snapped off a glove and left it on the desk next to the computer. Why not throw it out?

I had a fracture in my lower left leg in September 2025. I saw many doctors who didn't help me with my fracture as I expected. Then I went to CityMD on west 57th street and I was seen by doctor Unana Okaford. And I want to tell you that she is an outstanding, caring, compassionate and straight to the point and very clear in understanding you and very clear in her answer and explanation. I strongly recommend everyone to see doctor Okaford when they need help and when they feel that there is noone to go to for help with their health. She referred me to the right Orthopedist and I started to work immediately after five months of not working. In addition to great doctor Okaford, the people who work there are all excellent. They understand. They respect. And they help. Thanks a million CityMD

I made a 4:45pm appointment for an x-ray and upon arrival, was told that I would be seen promptly because I made my appointment ahead of time. Unfortunately it took me until 5:35pm to be called and after my initial intake and another 10 minute wait, I was told that the x-ray technician had “just gone on break”. Don’t come here unless you have no other choice, as it’s clear your care, wellbeing, and most importantly time, will not be valued or respected.

The entire team at this location is exceptional. From the front desk to the care providers. I was a walk-in and was quickly seen with friendliness and professionalism throughout my visit. The facility is orderly and clean. Special mention to Kaneal. So personable and kind. She facilitated my blood draw and I couldn’t even feel it. PA Andrew had incredible bedside manner, communication, knowledge, and efficiency. All of the reasons for my visit were respectfully addressed and resolved with genuine care while also getting me in and out of the facility quickly.

Having an ongoing urinary tract infection and on antibiotics, I decided to visit urgent care at City MD. I had developed pain and discomfort in my testes area. I am a transgender woman, so this was a tough call to make. PA, Naquisha Knights was professional, gentle, non judgemental and offered extremely beneficial suggestions. She was amazing! I feel more ssured of my healing progress and next steps that I should take. I highly recommend this location and PA. Thank you.
