CityMD West 42nd Urgent Care - NYC

PSA: this is a hair tourniquet. My baby had it and the doctor diagnosed it but did nothing. He said to wait and see. But I looked it up online and there IS a fix: use Nair!! So annoying that he did nothing. But we were seen quickly and staff was otherwise very efficient and competent.

Was dealing with anaphylaxis for the first time and scared - they rushed me in fast and the doctor didn't waste a minute getting me the meds I needed. The paramedics who took me to the ER were very impressed; said the doctor had done everything they usually do in such cases. Wasn't sure what I'd encounter with a walk in urgent care, but so thankful this was the one closest to my office

Terrible experience. Made an appointment, had to wait 30 minutes to be seen, then another hour to be seen by a doctor. Dirty, used needles and tests on the counter. People screaming their heads off about the wait time. I have previous heart and lung conditions, something they clearly had little knowledge about. I was there for severe neck pain and did say it made it harder to breathe but at one point the doctor used the words heart attack when I was there for neck pain, I am 24 and made it clear that my EKG results wouldn’t be normal ever because of past surgeries. That language whether something is super dire or not, is so terrifying to hear and nonetheless was extremely incorrect.not to mention at one point I was left connected to the EKG wires, laying flat down, normally fine; however,

Short waiting period. But since I was a tourist there was some issues. I can’t partake in testresults because I don’t have an American phonenumber. And the e-mailadresses on the page doesn’t work.
