I first want to say that the people who work at this branch are very kind and that I appreciate their care. I very rarely write negative reviews and do not direct my frustration towards any of the individual staff members. That said, the wait that I endured today was far longer than any office should tolerate. I had an appointment for 11:00am and wasn’t taken into an exam room until approximately 11:45am. Around that time, the kind medical technician took my vitals and administered COVID/FLU and Strep tests. I was told that a physician would be going over the results with me in no longer than 10 minutes. After 30 minutes of no one checking on me, I asked a staff member if the clinic had forgotten about me. The staff member assured me that the physician was exceptionally busy and that t

I have had really good luck with CityMD… until today. I booked a 12pm appointment and checked in with the front desk at 11:45am. Without speaking, the front desk person pointed at a QR code; ok, cool, not everyone loves their job. QR code told me to see front desk. Ok, let’s try that again. She took my phone and told me to fill out whatever she pulled up. I did it. After an hour I got up to check my status and was told I’m not in the system… great. I ended up waiting over two hours for my 12pm booked appointment. I literally watched the front desk eat two meals; no BS, they were going in, should have been happier after tearing up them chips. I know customer service is not fun, but damn, at least fake like the rest of us.

The staff here are so nice and friendly! I felt so much better after my visit with them. I felt a bit anxious about my visit but they were great with making me feel comfortable and relaxed.

This place is a joke. A few months ago, I Made an appointment online to avoid the 2 hour walk-in wait time (seems to always be 2 hours no matter how “busy” they are). Still ended up waiting 1.5 hours to be seen after my appointment time. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back today. Same exact experience. No respect for your time. Advice to management. Don’t let people book times online if you’re really that busy. Your staff, who then have to deal with angry customers, clearly hate their lives, making the experience worse for everyone.

TLDR: Avoid this place at all costs unless all you need is a bandaid and some ibuprofen. They don’t know how to perform simple EKG and costed me thousands in ER bills. Making an appointment is pointless because they treat you as a walk in patient. I had an appointment at this location at 10:30am. I was not seen until 12:00pm. I went here over the weekend after feeling some intense pain from a pulled muscle. Because of where the pain was, they ran an EKG. It came back abnormal because it was not done properly (confirmed by ER doctor). Dr. Shamir refused to even listen to me with a stethoscope. She yelled at me to not “self diagnose” and told me to go to the emergency room and that I was having heart issues. She was incredibly cold and rude. I go to the ER, freaked out, and surprise! My EKG
