CityMD South Bay Shore Urgent Care - Long Island

I had a very disappointing experience at this urgent care. I brought my child in because he was in significant pain. At the front desk, I was told we needed to wait. After over an hour, I noticed that several patients who arrived after us were taken in first. When I politely asked about it, I was told that “they had more urgent cases than ours.” As a parent, hearing that while your child is clearly suffering is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. No proper explanation was given, and there was no transparency in how patients were being prioritized. If you are coming here with a child in pain, be aware that you may be left waiting without clear communication or consideration. This experience showed a lack of empathy and poor patient management. Usually very good But the Dr today was dismissive and rude. Tried saying all i have is a cold without listening to my chest. He listened then said they did all they could- Now im in ER dx with pneumonia Dr kennedy needs more sensitivity training and diagnostics training.

Came in last year had a bad stomach ache and felt nauseous, a male nurse not sure if Arabic or Muslim with glasses, was treated very poorly with him he made me cry and I felt humiliated by him and he was very irritated when asking me basic health questions. I’ve never been treated like that at all whenever I go to urgent care places. I completely understand what nurses and doctors have to go through everyday with dozens of patients but it made me feel extremely awful just stepping in that place again. I don’t think I’m the only one who feels that way but it’s generally horribly the way certain staff treats their patients.

Very disappointed I went in with a fever that had gone down and I had chills body aches with severe headaches and it didn’t help that I had to self pay 250$ only for the doctor bundani I think she said it was to lift my arm and tell me I was perfectly fine I went to another doctor the next day turns out I had the flu don’t recommend coming here on top of wasting your time and money the front staff was very nice though i can’t same the same about the doctor I was in a lot of pain overall and zero care
