CityMD Montvale Urgent Care - New Jersey

Woowww I did not read the reviews prior coming to here.. Now I see why I cannot comprehend why an urgent care like this exists. I could've done this back at home and this is how they "professionally" treat to their patients?? For $225/or $25 co pay And I had to insist on the ointment (ointment with antibiotic for these type of wounds helps to heal faster) He didn't even utilize gauze/roll bandage The wound is open wound, their is no outer layer, the skin is burning everytime I take a step because of the shoe. At least he thought of taking the X-Ray Thas something (onething) good about this location but I would encourage you to go somewhere else.

I was seen on february 24 2026 for a productive cough. The doctor who came in to examine me refused to wear a mask. He stated I do not wear masks. Masks make people sick. I also do not believe in the covid vaccine. I am a retired registered nurse who worked for NYP in New York. I was shocked that he refused to wear a mask after I requested it. I will be writing a letter to corporate.

Can't say I recommend this place at all. Came in here the other day with a suspected UTI and told the doctor that. He took one look at me and said "impossible" and tried to convince me it was an STD instead. After pushing back for a while on his claims, he ended up prescribing me a cocktail of meds to "cover it all". Test results came back and said it was in fact a UTI and thank god I followed my suspects as I took the only set of pills in the bunch he prescribed to help cure a UTI and not the whole bunch of them as he told me to. A doctor's advice to "take all the meds and see what happens" is a WILD thing to say, especially when you admitted you don't know what I have. So yeah, avoid this place. Lovely nurses and front desk staff though.

If you get Doctor ignorant with the bald head and beard. You are screwed . He only dispenses one type of anti biotic that does not work. He is rude he told me I didn't want to work and would not give a note. I was sick for a month I went there three times. I got so ill I had to go to a pulmonologist. The pulmonologist gave me his cell number invited me behind his desk and showed me why the city med montvale doctor FAILED. He explained to me why the anti biotic he gave me 2x was never going to work on the type of infection I had. I'm 53 I was lucky I work next door now I know why there are always ambulances outside that place. Take my advice if the capsule is purple and orange and your bringing and older person there. Went there once and the doctor did nothing and said “even if it’s the flu, your immune system will fight for off.” Sickness got way worse, went back and saw another doctor who still didn’t do much and now almost two weeks in, I’m so so sick. Never had an experience quite like this before.
