CityMD Maspeth Urgent Care - Queens

It was my first time visiting this urgent care location. It was near my work and my husband’s. My 11 month old son had his first allergic reaction and we really appreciate how they responded right away. As soon as we went in, they put us in a room and doctor and nurses attended to him. They kept us calm and were very helpful during this frightening situation especially we are a first time parents. Thank you to everyone who helped us, from the receptionist to the doctor and nurses.

I went into CityMD tonight not feeling well with throat and body aches. The front desk and medical assistants were kind and very professional. When Dr Carneau came into the room she was arrogant, unprofessional and very RUDE. I am the Manager in a Medical establishment and would NEVER allow any one of our doctors to treat or talk to the patients the way she did to me tonight!!! Obviously this woman doesn't like her job or the patients because if she did this would never occur. I would like a response to my review and prehaps explain what her problem is and why she is allowed to conduct herself in this matter. HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!!

My mom went in with a high fever, SOB, cough and chest pressure. They prescribed her steroids only. She was not feeling better so she reached out to her PCP had her go for a chest X-ray and blood work. This location has an X-ray available and decided not to screen pneumonia or other lung issues which has now delayed her care. She was diagnosed today after a chest X-ray and is now on the right meds. The doctors in most of these places are extremely mediocre. This is a basic diagnosis that should not have been missed.

Dr. Carnaru is knowledgeable, clear and concise in her treatment plan and management. She also appropriately escalated my care. I sincerely appreciate her!

Went in for checkup. Paid my copay via phone and the app as I always do. I was the denied care by the front staff by informing me my copay was 100. When I informed them I just paid 50 as I always do I was told “well it’s 100. So you have to pay.” I again informed them I just paid and asked how recent this change was. I was told 2 years. I informed them again I’ve been here since then and paid 50. I was then told unless I paid NOW (which is untrue by the way they can bill you after the fact) I would be denied care. Workers at the front also have their IDs reversed so you can’t see their name or Info.
