CityMD East 67th Urgent Care - NYC

Seriously - just go to the emergency room if serious. I made an appointment at 9am. Over an hour waiting. They called for emergency and the NYFD (who are amazingly wonderful and professional came) but CityMD did not even notify me that there was an emergency with my husband although he told Ms. Watts or whatever blonde that his wife was waiting in the waiting area. How unprofessional that they did not alert me nor did the receptionist. Dense does not begin to describe them! Avoid and go elsewhere! Until I saw a stretcher coming is and how my husband was they failed to tell me that an ambulance was called. This is unbelievable. Avoid going there!!!! Minus 0 in terms of rating. Very disappointing. The NYFD was amazing. Highly responsible, nice and friendly. Complete opposite of CityMD. .

I requested a basic privacy accommodation so my child wouldn’t have to sit inside the exam room. Instead of offering any reasonable alternatives, the staff at this location kept repeating the same line—“find someone to watch him”—even after I had already waited for an hour. When I asked about other options, every suggestion was dismissed without real engagement. The attitude was essentially that I could leave if I didn’t agree. This was not about workload; it was a lack of flexibility, problem-solving, and basic respect for patient privacy. Because the situation was handled so poorly, I went to the front desk to request a refund. Later, I visited another CityMD, only to learn that the refund from this location had never been processed. I saw PA James Giraldez who was very disappointing. He never checked me for RSV and I am in my 60's. He checked me for covid flu influenza. Because my level of care with PA Giraldez was not thorough I went to my GP and he immediatley knew what I had. I also went in for a hand xray which again the PA did not know what he was talking about. The place is fine if you need to go somewhere right away. I have had better care there on previous visits.

My experience with Nakasha K. Wariech, PA-C was deeply disappointing and this provider should be avoided at all cost. Her bedside manner was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. She was reluctant to prescribe anything that might genuinely alleviate symptoms, even when it was medically appropriate, and instead tried to insist on unnecessary X-rays and Covid Tests. All of which were already conducted 4 days ago by her colleague and the results were available to her. When I asked about alternative treatments, referrals, or other pharmaceutical or home remedies that might help, she provided nothing useful, no direction, and no willingness to guide me toward another option. She initially tried to deflect responsibility by claiming that refusing to prescribe a cough syrup was “City MD policy,”

I’m very impressed with this city MD. I saw two doctors here and they were very on top of things. They knew what I had and took care of me. It’s wonderful they have the ability to take x-rays which I needed because I was having trouble breathing. They were worried I had pneumonia. The reception staff is fantastic - I particularly writing about Danny. I actually had another doctors appointment for something separate before I went to City MD and I was treated incredibly poorly and I came A little upset from the appointment and Danny was very sweet and kind and emphatic. . They were short on staff and he kept coming into the room and making sure I was OK. He was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I’ve had very good experiences at this city MD - from the front desk staff to the doctors. And
