CityMD East 37th Urgent Care - NYC

Everytime I come in I am delighted by my experience! The front desk I want to give a warm shout out to the woman who was there today. She was very kind and patient with my mother and I despite it being our first visit for her. We’ve never had initial care like that. The doctor and the medical assistant that assisted us were splendid you think you wouldn’t receive top care at an urgent care but here is where it is at!! I will definitely be coming back to this location if any of my family members feel sick.

Dr Gallagher is amazing, exudes competence and is super nice. She diagnosed what was wrong with me right away and sent me to the ER (where they proceeded to misdaignose me, but all ended well). Always have good experiences at CityMD - clean, efficient and staff are good to great.

City MD needs to do a better job at verifying parents when an appointment is reserved for a minor. I made an appointment online for my daughter yesterday for 5pm. She was called in to the room at 5:40pm accompanied by my husband (sidenote-it doesn't seem like there is a point of making an online appointment if the wait to get in to a room is close to an hour). I arrived at 6pm and stated I was there for my daughter who was called in to the back and the receptionist told me to sit down and wait (even though I was the one who made the appointment on my daughter's behalf along with filling out the pre-check in questionnaire). Why was I told to wait instead of being asked to verify my relationship to my daughter? After I got up from the waiting area and reiterated that I was there for my daugh

So mean reception , came in with a hot water burn hand and doesn’t give a shit. I didn’t know how to do appointment and told me scan a stupid QR code and nothing. So terrible

I have visited City MD on various occasions and find it very professional and satisfying. Most recently I was treated by Alyssa and the PA, Mithani. They did the appropriate tests and blood work. The test results were later posted in the Summit App. I was given a clear understanding and assessment of my situation. I’m happy to have this clinic in the area where I live.
