Yesterday I visited this CityMD location due to severe cold/flu symptoms. Scheduling my appointment online was easy. Each member of the medical team was friendly, professional, and time efficient. Dr. Souza is a wonderful person who shows true concern and understanding. She quickly clarified my diagnosis, provided clear options for getting medication at a local pharmacy, and expressed real interest in other medical issues. I want to give a "shout out" of gratitude to this excellent medical team at East 125th Street Urgent Care. Thanks for all you do!
The front end girl is horrific! She’s the most unprofessional employee of city md that I have EVER come across. She purposely removed my name from the board to make me wait… while I had my child with me… while I was sick! When I confronted the doctor, she acknowledged the poor mannerisms as if it were out of her control. CityMD is practically a monopoly for urgent care in NYC but I will not stop voicing my experiences there until I am heard. Next time I’m going to record her. I left this review previously but apparently it was wiped. I’ll be contacting the corporate.
I wish more urgent care clinics were like this location. They’re very fast, efficient, and don’t waste your time. If you have a concern that requires the attention of a specialist or outside medical help, they’ll refer you instead of having you spend extra money and time there for no reason. I’ve been to this location a few times. The other staff I interacted with was friendly too especially Dr. De Souza
Dr.Sylvie de Souza and her assistant Nick Kassim (who was so comfortable in his position & approach to my medical concerns that I initially thought he was the doctor) were both amazingly personable, knowledgeable and so I felt confident in my diagnosis when leaving the office. Will choose this location again if needed even tho it means commuting from the Bronx.
I just left CityMD I had an emergency I went there. I feel so much better Dr De Souza was very knowledgeable kind and gentle. This is a great team that is really professional. We definitely need CityMD at this harlem location. I will recommend this location to anyone
