CityMD Carle Place Urgent Care - Long Island

This place is a waste of your $15 co-payment. The staff at the front desk are rude and act as if they are doing you a favor by even talking to you. You don't even have the opportunity to see an actual doctor. The nurse practioner I saw did not pay attention to my medical history and did not give me the medicine I needed which caused me to be much sicker than before I entered City MD. I would suggest visiting a snake oil salesman before going here.

Hands down the best urgent care on LI best staff best doctors, unfortunately had two visits. Amazing amzing staff the doctor that saw me today, MEKHOUBAD_S_MD absolute gentleman. His presence healed me. Thank you guys my brown little heart loves you.

Went to this facility after slipping and fallen on black ice. Was seen by a PA who told me there’s nothing wrong, go home take Tylenol and ibuprofen”. Still in Tremendous pain, I went to a different facility - found out I not only have a sprained ankle but torn ligaments. This is the second time I visited city, MD and experience their incompetence. Never again!!! Avoid this place if you want true medical treatment They do nothing but bill your insurance! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Went in with a sore throat and a terrible cough. Sat in the room while covid, flu, and strep tests were done. I was told just to take Motrin and given a cough syrup. The second I got home I threw up in the kitchen sink as I couldn’t even make it to the bathroom. I’m not a medical professional but someone does not just randomly throw up and have a sore throat and a cough all at the same time and “they just need to take Motrin and they’ll feel better”

Extremely disappointed with this urgent care center. It does not even deserve the 1 star I was forced to put in order to post this. Just because they call themselves "urgent care" doesn’t mean they accept all insurance — don't assume they do. I walked in today and was given the option to fill out paperwork or use my phone. I chose my phone and spent 10 minutes entering my personal info, uploading my driver’s license, insurance card, and credit card. Only after all of that was I called up and told they don’t take my insurance. Why wasn’t that the very first question I was asked? Even worse no one asked why I was there. What if it was an actual emergency? What if it was a life-or-death situation? They would have had no idea because they never asked. This is deeply concerning. Please be care
