I went to this city MD because I was really sick. I had cold flu soreness body aches symptoms. I was hoping the Dr JOSEPH IDA will check me and ask me questions they hired a young male as the medical assistant but he didn’t know anything so I had to help him. I verbally told him what medications I’m on without him asking. When the Dr came in, he didn’t greet me or say how are you. He didn’t look at the computer screen to see my history. he just asked what happened when I was trying to tell him him he was in a rush. He didn’t listen to me, didn’t check me. He only put his thing on my back and left. He didn’t check my nose, ears, chest, mouth or anything else. He didn’t check what medicine I am taking. It’s sad this place doesn’t care for your wellbeing. It’s clearly just a business to charg
Over the weekend my son injured his foot. I wanted to take him to urgent care immediately rather than going to the ER. Due to the time, the closest urgent care open to me was the Bellmore location. Before driving there, I called to make sure a technician was actually on site since it was already after 7. A man answered and I asked, “Do you have an X-ray machine?” He said, “Yes, we do X-rays.” I then asked specifically, “Do you have a technician on site?” There was a long pause and he repeated, in an extremely rude and annoyed tone, “Yes, we do X-rays.” He clearly didn’t want to be bothered and wouldn’t answer a simple question. I’ve been to many CityMd locations over the years and generally speaking they’re all very good. Last night, I went to Bellmore for the first time after work, because they’re the only one open late and I was suffering from a debilitating migraine for several days, that just wouldn’t go away. There was only one other person in the waiting room, but I still had to wait about a half hour and then another twenty minutes in the room after they took my vitals, but I didn’t even care I just wanted some relief. Finally the doctor came in and he was beyond rude, he didn’t let me speak, he was rude, dismissive, even raised his voice at me. A horrible experience with them- I was there twice in a week- they made me fill out the same long entire check in online. They skipped me and bought in. A lady that came after me. I tested positive for covid and forgot to get a return to work letter- because I was so sick! - they refuse to give me a doctor note to return to work- they wanted me to come back and pay another $30!!! My family and I will not be returning to this place- the manager was very dismissive and did absolutely nothing to help me.
Imagine going into an urgent care on a Friday and no one is in the waiting room. 2 people exit as you’re leaving so you think. Yes it won’t be a long wait. Front desk staff never acknowledged you…. But hey you help yourself and scan the barcode. 25 mins later you are still in the waiting area, asking when you will be seen. Another 5 mins later. I’m asking for a refund on my co-pay because EVERY ROOM is empty. All the staff is behind the wall having themselves a good ole conversation. What’s the excuse why I’m still waiting? “I wasn’t checked in” The building literally says “URGENT CARE” …obviously the staff here would rather sit while I urgently die in the waiting room
