CityMD Bay Shore Urgent Care - Long Island

The medical care itself was fine and efficient. The provider and clinical staff did their job well. However, my experience at the front desk was extremely disappointing. The blonde female receptionist was very rude, would not let me speak, and kept interrupting me. Her attitude was unprofessional and made the visit unnecessarily stressful. If management needs proof, they can review the security camera footage from today 1/28/26 at 8:00 AM, which will clearly show the interaction. Good medical care does not excuse poor and disrespectful behavior at the front desk.

Not only could they not take my payment (3 different ways and with 2 different cards), the amount was twice as much as Northwells urgent care. I left for Northwell around the block and was immediately seen. It's not their fault, but the experience was frustrating and unpleasant and I will never go back to a cityMD

All the staff members we encountered were polite and without the usual clinic attitude. Self-pay patients can expect to pay $225 per visit and most insurances are claimed to be accepted. We were seen by Dr. Kapoor who gave us the right amount of time to make us feel we were heard. Urgent referrals were given and all work was documented. X-ray copies were provided via disc. All in all, one of the best CityMD locations.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th visit to this location, and I always have a great experience with one particular professional, Dr. Patricia Daly. She is thorough, really listens to my issues, and always makes me feel I am in good/ competent hands. I wish she could be my primary physician!

This is the best urgent care I ever visited I go here alll the time if you need medical help I would go here ms Daly is the best doctor they are so caring here the ladies in the front everyone needs a raise because the hospitality they show they really try to help you here I thank god for this place
