Save yourself the headache and DO NOT GO HERE. I strongly encourage anyone who has had a troubling experience here, to share it with the New York State Department of Health Professionals (you can request a DOH 3867 form). In my visits I found the front-desk staff consistently unhelpful and unprofessional, and many of the concerns reflected in other reviews matched my own experience. It seems to come from the top down starting with the office manager Krystal. Like many reviews here the office forces you to go in for simple things just so they can ‘lay eyes’ on you. I see other reviews here listing how patients must make an appointment for a simple question which makes me feel better because I have been through the same exact thing! They simply want to make as much money as they possibly c
TLDR: THE OFFICE MAY LOOK AMAZING BUT THE TREATMENT IS ABYSMAL! PROVIDERS ARE DECENT BUT NOT WORTH DEALING WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE BEHAVIOR OF THE OTHER STAFF. Overall, my experience at this office has been extremely unprofessional. There are also so many signs and red flags that I chose to ignore which scream that the practice itself is money hungry and will prioritize profit over patient care. I have seen two providers at this office; one was fine and the other was amazing. That being said, I was hoping the conduct of the MAs and front office staff were flukes and could be ignored, but it seems to be their norm. Starting with the MAs, during my first visit, I had an EKG done and was asked to exchange my bra and shirt for a gown. At the end of the procedure, the MA not only ope
UPDATE: The acknowledgement provided was neither respectful nor genuine. A personal phone call and a formal acknowledgement and apology would have been the appropriate and expected response. However, they did not do that at all. Terribly saddening. We have been enrolled with this practice for some time, but this incident is deeply concerning and may lead us to seek care elsewhere. Review: Disturbing Lack of Professionalism and Respect for Patient Boundaries I am writing this review with the expectation that City Care Practice on Park Avenue will immediately reassess their standards of professionalism and patient care or I will have to report this matter to the city. During my recent visit with my teenage son, the nursing assistant, Susu, displayed conduct that was deeply concerning. Co
Have only had good experiences with this practice. Their online client portal is convenient. However, it would be nice if they had a more user friendly user interface where you could message questions directly with the doctor/medical staff as needed. Aside from that, no complaints!
I now understand our city’s mental health epidemic. I recently lost my insurance coverage and can’t get new coverage until January 1. I take two antidepressant medications and ran out, but was told I must come in for an in-person visit to get them refilled. Because I don’t have insurance, I had to pay out of pocket, and the cost was extremely high for a visit where the doctor simply needed to “lay eyes” on me. There were no payment plan options available. Thankfully, the kind and sympathetic woman at the front desk told me about a 15% discount code, which I am extremely grateful for, and for her kind efforts to assist me during this situation. What’s left me upset is my experience with the doctor, one of whom I’ve been going to for a few years. I explained my situation and asked if ther
