After seeing Dr. Curcione on a regular basis for a number of years she finally discovered that I had glaucoma in both eyes, one severe enough to cause optic nerve damage. This could have been prevented from progressing to this stage had she been a more attentive and professional doctor in checking my eye pressure. The right eye was 35 (optic nerve damage) and the left was 27 - no damage to the optic nerve but glaucoma was present. I have my records from her office! 10-21 is considered normal eye pressure. She finally recommended that I see a specialist. This was 6 years ago and I take eye drops 3 times a day and have had an SLT - Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty twice with another one next week. If the meds and SLT quit working, surgery will be next. I am fighting to keep my eyesight - no

From overseeing eye surgery in 2009 to yearly exams, Dr. Curcione is professional, patient, and knowledgeable. I am grateful in this world of medical mishaps that I have someone I can trust with my eyesight.
