Choate Dental Associates, PC

I found Choate Dental when I moved to Bartow County in 2006. Being an established practice in town, I felt confident selecting their practice. I liked the hygienists and the female dentist whom I saw upon my biannual check-ups. Unfortunately, at one point, a billing error was made by the office manager & she refused to accept responsibility for it. She then deemed that any visits I make to Choate would require payment upon the visit, even though I had excellent dental insurance through my long-time employer. I felt that her policy was unnecessary especially when other dentists in town were glad to have me as their patient. Choate's expenses must require rude collection tactics in order to pay for their modern offices & real estate - being on Main St. in Cartersville. I've moved on - for

I am a cradle to grave native of Cartersville. I grew up with Dr. Lester Smith as my dentist, then, my friend Britt Gilmer took care of me. I struggled through a couple years with no firm dentist. I have had teeth that needed regular attention as far back as I can remember, thus I can't be without a committed Dr. I desperation, I tried a couple of the "big box", "take a number" dentists who instill NO confidence. Why I didn't hitch myself to the Choates, I do not know. Thankfully, I lucked into an appointment and immediately found a home. From front door to back and on the phone, this team gets it exactly right. I visited both Zim and Hal Choate as a teenager. When I returned to Cartersville I naturally went to Choate Dental. After 2 root canals and 3 crowns ( at $1800 each with great insurance ) I went for a consultation elsewhere. I had the beginnings of gum disease. Thankfully my new dentist has reversed that. Dr Brian is only in it for the money.

I've been a patient for 10+ years. I know 2 I think 3 generations of Choates have cared for me. I've had crowns, cleanings, filling repairs, tooth aches, insurance squabbles. Choate staff was exemplary. From dentists, hygienists, appointments (re-scheduling -working me in), billing, Insurance assistance... Simply professional. No drama. My highest regards. B. Cooney

Last week was my first visit with Tinsley. @Choate dental. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and comforting. This will be my new dentist! ❤
