I have a second pacemaker and while satisfied with my surgeon I was not pleased with several things related to the medical practice he is part of. So I decided to investigate transferring care to Virginia Heart. I had many questions but didn’t have the chance to ask because Dr. Sandesara was well prepared providing answers. My device was checked as with the previous provider but unlike them I received a written report. After reviewing the report I questioned one item of concern. Dr. Sandesara was quick to answer and explain it. I then followed up with him explaining why I thought was caused the anomaly incase it might happen again. As a result have I very high confidence that I’m receiving excellent care.

I recently had a pacemaker implanted by Dr. Sandesara at INOVA hospital and the experience was exceptional in every respect. From the treatment by the nursing staff to the skillful operation by Dr. Sandesara and the antitheist, the quality of care was superb. I was given all needed information and due consideration for all my personal needs. The whole process was efficient, competent, and surprisingly painless. I went through several EP's before finding Dr. Sandesara. Other EP's were all about doing ablations, as though that's the solution to all arrhythmia problems. After three ablations of only temporary success, I switched to Dr. Sandesara when the arrhythmia again returned. Unlike the other EP's, he was very proactive in working with me as a team to find alternatives that worked. My arrhythmia has been under control now for nearly two years, without needing any more ablations. But it took time to find the right answers, which he had the patience and experience to do. He is very down to earth, personable, and takes time with you. Highly recommended!
