Children's Mercy Sports Medicine Center at Village West

I was so disappointed in Children's Mercy Sports Medicine my son was referred by our primary care physician for a shoulder injury from football and had been doing PT (he wasn't the best at the home PT) but when we saw the doctor he told us he just needed to keep doing PT and no follow up. Felt completely dismissed and disregarded. We ended up seeing another orthopedic surgeon, had a much better experience with real answers/solutions.

If you are getting a cast put on or token off, it's a super slow process. Waited well over an hour in the waiting room alone. Bring a book or something to wait!

Dr Canty is AMAZING! He is very patient and willing to answer any/all questions. He explains things well, is very thorough and takes his time with us. I have been very impressed and so thankful to have found him. The staff is excellent as well.

Phone services are down and operators connect to the same number with now over 40+ minutes of hold time?

They all did an amazing job. Staff let me know they had us checked in/wait time to be seen, nurse got all the questions and information needed which was all notated on our paperwork and all the doctors and nurse were very informative when my son needed a cast and explaining his fracture. I would 100% recommend them.
