Children's Dentistry of Virginia, PC - Chester

I’ve taken my 5yo son with autism her for a couple years now and they do really well with him! Of course he doesn’t like the dentist, but the staff are always patient with him and make him as comfortable as possible. I just took my 21mo here for her first appointment and again they were great!

My 3 children had their first visit at the office last week and we actually had a wonderful experience. The checkin process was easy, they called us back right away. Taylor, Jazmin, and Kaylee were the hygienist that worked with my children and they were amazing! We were done in 30 minutes and everything was thoroughly done and explained to me. I have no complaints about our first visit. My children even said they were happy and can't wait to go back which shocked me lol

If you are referred here for sedation and your child is over 10 years old and has severe dental anxiety, be mindful that it may be in your best interest to go elsewhere. They will not listen to the parent’s concern because of the medical treatment plan they feel is “best” and will refer you elsewhere.

My wife called to discuss bringing in my autistic 8 year old daughter as a new patient and Jocelyn was extremely understanding personal and helpful with making her comfortable coming in she even said she had experienced the same thing my daughter was embarrassed about I live near by so I will definitely be bringing my daughter here and recommending them to anyone ik

Overall, so far, my experience with the staff has been good. Other than the front staff. They are always rude and act like you checking in or out is inconveniencing them. Today I called to fix an issue before my sons visit this morning. I was placed "on a brief hold" at 15 minutes I hung up and called again. Call was answered in 2 rings. Even then, she had an attitude helping resolve the issue. When I let her know they need to be more mindful if calls waiting her response was "you shouldn't have waited so long before hanging up. That isn't my fault"
