Children's Dental Center

For three years, I’ve been bringing my six-year-olds here for their every six months cleaning and check up. They’ve never given my kids x-rays. They’ve never actually cleaned their teeth. All they do is take them to the back dental hygienist. Make some note or whatever doctor comes in looks at their teeth, puts fluoride on it. They’re done, but guess what they’ve been billing my insurance for x-rays and cleaning don’t come here.

I absolutely LOVE this office! The staff are truly wonderful—friendly, professional, and caring. My son has autism, and they are always extra patient and understanding with him, which means the world to us. They take the time to make sure he feels comfortable, and I can see how much they genuinely care. I feel completely safe and confident having both of my kids in their care. I couldn’t ask for a better dental team!

I would NOT recommend!! I would give 0 stars if I could. The first consultation the doctor we saw was not empathetic or kind. I was told that I could go back with my child for a procedure if I booked a 9am. By chance I had called to follow up on the future billing and was informed I would not be allowed to go back, it was only one person in the practice that had that policy (the doctor I did not want to see). After waiting on hold for an hour and the office manager promising me a follow up call the same day to see if another doctor in the practice will allow this, I heard nothing. This was also not the first time I waited on hold for such a long time. I then attempted to follow up again and this was last week, still nothing. I was told every time the office was short staffed. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience in the hope that it helps other parents make informed decisions. While Dr. Sal may be technically skilled in his dental work, his complete lack of bedside manner has had a lasting negative impact on my children. Both of my kids now experience extreme anxiety and fear when it comes to dental visits, a direct result of their interactions with Dr. Sal. I fully understand that most children — and even adults — aren’t fond of going to the dentist. However, Dr. Sal has a way of making the experience significantly more stressful and traumatic than it needs to be. His demeanor is cold, impatient, and, quite frankly, not at all suited for working with children. A pediatric dentist should not only be clinically competent

If I could give a 0 I would. Non of these people know how to work with children. I had my son brought in for his first appointment and the first thing they said when they got him in the chair was "Alright mom you hold his legs down. Dad you hold him arms down." Not even TRYING to see if he would cooperate. They had him immediately scared and screaming. Which my son absolutely would've cooperated because we had been practicing and playing dentist for months in preparation. Took him to a different dentist and they were wonderful. He cooperated and actually thought it was so cool to get his teeth checked. Thank the lord for the second place we went to. Never will I recommend this office
