Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow

My Mom was at Chestnut Hill for 6 months. She spent the first half of her stay on the rehab side. The CNA’s performed their job well. Desi was great with my Mom. My Mom had dementia and she was not the easiest person to deal with. Mostly when it came to getting her in and out of bed. I always found my Mom cleaned and cared for. When she was moved to the long term side of the building the staff was again very caring. Gwen one of the CNA’s is a no mess around type of gal. Just what my Mom needed as I stated she could be difficult when receiving the necessary care. Darcy the nurse I dealt with the most answered my questions professionally and always asked me if my Mom was comfortable. I am delighted to acknowledge and give thanks for the wonderful treatment and the wonderful hospitality that I received during my rehabilitation from knee surgery at this facility. The administration Brielle, and Chalimar, The cna's Sue, AV,Monica ,and others, The PA Caitlin, The nurses Tracy, Sharee, Jackie, and others, And the whole PT staff Rick, Sarah, Jennifer, Shelby, Chris,and others, were all very professional, kind, and benevolent to me during my stay. The facility was very clean and well maintained. All my needs were met and I was treated with respect, kindness, and professional treatment from all of the team members that I encountered. The professional staff helped to make my rehabilitation go pleasantly well.

My recent experience with Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow was MORE than positive because EVERYONE at the facility provided the utmost in compassionate, first-rate customer service. My 91-year-old mother received outstanding, end-of-life care which ensured her personal comfort while attending to her various medical needs. At the same time, as her sole family/personal caregiver, I was in constant contact with various Chestnut Hill personnel whenever any health-related issues came to pass. Although the last month of her life was understandably stressful, the entire staff of Chestnut Hill (both medical and administrative) provided much-needed and much-appreciated support to both me and my late mother. My father was admitted there twice this year in 2025, once in January or February and in October. The caseworkers , the PT’s and the occupational therapist were all nice and with great attitude. They were very helpful, especially , Brielle and Patty were extremely wonderful. They were always in touch with me giving me updates about my father. Their attitude was phenomenal and they took good care of my father and reported all his Information to me when needed. Also, the nurses were nice. Also, I recommend this place to everyone.

My mom was recently a patient at Chestnut Hill Rehab. When she arrived there she was pretty sick. The staff there was very helpful and caring and had her feeling better in no time. She worked with the physical therapists and we saw a lot of progress they had her up on her feet and moving in no time. They have given her the strength and the tools needed to be able to be do things ahead of time hadn’t been able to do in a while. The social workers made sure that she was well taken care of. A special shout out to Brie for making sure to get her in with a roommate that has now became a good friend. Any time I had questions or concerns Brie was there to help us navigate it all.
