They are very good there and the whole facility was very clean and up to date on the equipment they use for helping to diagnose patients! The decor is amazingly beautiful! It all looked amazing to me! Here is what I don’t understand…why are they building a whole new hospital when it’s not really needed? I don’t know but, I think, now this is only my opinion is that: if they didn’t build a new hospital at all, those thousands of dollars could be put toward our elderly who live on $500.or $600. a month I’m sure many of them could use the help, some of our homeless vets who literally have nothing, building new homes for our people! That’s just only a few things all that money could go towards! Like I said, this is only one persons opinion! ♥️
We waited in the ER for over four hours without being called back, while so many people around us were clearly in severe pain and distress. There was no sense of urgency or compassion from the staff, and it felt like no one was being taken seriously. I have been going to Hastings Hospital my entire life, and I have never seen it this bad. After reading recent reviews, it’s heartbreaking to see that this has been an ongoing issue for quite some time. I eventually had to leave because I needed to get back home to my 2 year-old who was being watched by his grandparents, and now I’m just praying it out and hoping everything will be okay. This really deserves 0 Stars.
OBGYN completely dismissed my concerns when another doctor SENT ME HERE for a specific service for an infection I've been dealing with for a MONTH, I was told it wasn't necessary. Went to pick up some meds and was told I would receive a text when ready. Waited for 40 minutes and went back up to the desk to ask of prescription status to be told it's ready and I can go to room B. Proceed to wait another 10 minutes for my meds. Very unprofessional and it's service like this that leads to people not trusting their medical providers and leading to mental health breaking points. I would have left 0/5 stars if I could.
I wouldn't even give them one star, but I had too in order to give a review. The horrendous way they treat patients in the ER is uphauling. I sat for 4 hours in the ER watching them check people in, but not calling anyone back for 4 hours. An elderly couple that drove all the way from Sallisaw, never got seen and had to leave at 3am so they can try again another day. Sad. The staff in ER literally had an elderly man sleeping on the floor of the ER over 2 hours before triage even called him back. And this was only after most of the patients had grown tired of the wait and left. Most conversations in the wait area were very frustrated since some had checked in several times and never got seen, but we're all certain Cherokee Nation ER made sure to charge everyone's insurance for the ER visit.
You can get things done like imaging here but if you want any other help do not expect it and if you're not the right type of Indian that they want you to be don't expect any help. I have a herniated disc in my lower back as well as some other things going on back there causing me a lot of pain and to not be able to walk sometimes. But apparently since they know exactly how I feel they felt it was okay to deny me getting it fixed even though they forced me to go through all the physical therapy and getting more imaging just to tell me they're not going to help me if they allowed assisted suicide I would just take that option since I can't get healthcare apparently
