Chamberlain University - Sacramento

I chose Chamberlain’s on-ground BSN program expecting structured, in-person learning that would prepare me to be a competent nurse. Unfortunately, many required science and nursing courses were moved to online or hybrid formats, often with very little notice. After one year in the program, I lack confidence in what I have truly learned. Nursing education requires consistent, hands-on instruction, and this program has not delivered that experience. If I could give this school a zero rating, I would. I regret my decision and strongly advise future students to thoroughly research and ask very detailed questions before enrolling.

As a recent graduate I 110% recommend future student nurses who are ready and willing to work hard to succeed at Chamberlain! This Sacramento campus is full of brilliant faculty and staff ready to help you learn and be confident in that knowledge because their goal is truly to make you an extraordinary nurse. I highly recommend getting involved in student organizations as it enhances the already prevalent sense of Chamberlain Care. IT IS REAL! Faculty is always ready to assist and encourage you if you meet them half way. I am proud to be a Chamberlain graduate and I am excited to begin my career as an extraordinary RN at a local hospital because I feel Chamberlain has truly prepared me!

Didn’t attend but being that I needed a safe place to go with my dog …. they were patient for the first couple days, with my imposition but ended up asking us to leave. I don’t blame them the company that followed me didn’t respect the space like I asked. I hope I at least left the area cleaner than when I got there as a thank you for any amount of empathy

This university has been one of the worst experiences ever! As a recent graduate, I finally can give my honest opinion without having any backlash. The nursing program itself is fine. The workload is a lot, but for the most part, manageable. Some professors and dean of this campus are absolutely horrible, without integrity, sleezy and downright ignorant. They set expectations for students yet don't even come close to having the same expectations for themselves. Students are required to be on time, yet we waited for professors for over 30 min to show up and get ready for their classes. I applied to chamberlain university college of nursing in Sacramento campus around August for their BSN program starting January 2023. During that time ALEXIS OSBORNE was my advisor. After submitting all my application I never heard from her, anytime I tried to reach her, it’ll say leave a voice mail. They keep telling me my application will be reviewed by the committee review next week, and It’s been 2 months of hearing this same news. Every week I call them to find out where I stand with them is another NEXT WEEK news. This is very unprofessional and frustrating.
