My father attended a dental consultation on January 21, 2026, during which he was evaluated and advised that three lower teeth and the remaining upper teeth required extraction. The initial dentist also recommended that, following the extractions, my father be fitted for both upper and lower dentures as part of his treatment plan. We were advised that this treatment would utilize the full $1,500.00 AARP United Healthcare Dental allowance for the 2026 plan year, and that my father would still incur approximately $865.00 in out-of-pocket expenses for both top and bottom dentures. The extractions were scheduled by your office for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM. On the day of the procedure, my father and I arrived approximately thirty minutes early. ThI dentist is rude to be honest. My son told me that he was rude when he first went but I never had any interaction with him until my second visit. He told me if I had better insurance or paid out of pocket instead of having Medicaid than I would get better and faster treatment. I will be reporting him and finding another dentist

Not happy with my visit. Staff were not friendly. Made my first appointment for a cleaning. They did X-rays and said there was a cavity but they weren’t going to fix it, that I would have to make another appointment and miss another day of work. Then I asked about the cleaning, they said I would have to make another appointment for that too bc they don’t do it on the same day. I was very confused. So basically they did nothing and just want me to make more appointments to charge the insurance more and have me miss more days of work. Not happy.

Have been to the office twice, & neither of the dentists that I saw introduced themselves. The first one, a female, was very nice. The second, a man, didn't seem to care, didn’t ask how I was doing during the procedure, & it honestly felt like I was being blamed for having a painful experience.

Have to say having CJMC in Carteret is a great asset. Ample parking everything very clean. Employees are very courteous and knowledgeable of their work. From time to get in worked and out took less than an hour. Was very pleased overall 100% Happy.
