I visited Central Coast Pharmacy for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had to have a new medication compounded for my cat's special needs. I was greeted by a very nice woman and pleasantly surprised by her genuine caring and friendly attitude toward me. She smiled a lot. She knew I'd never used the medication. It took an oral syringe to administer the meds. It was small and appeared to be tailored to cats. With tiny measurement markings. She marked with a piece of tape the place on the syringe to make it easier for me to withdraw the appropriate amount confidently. (I'm 70 and not nearly as confident performing new tasks) But her doing just a little extra by marking the syringe made a big difference in my confidence. The pharmacy inventory itself was totally unique! For the holidays

First I want to say I don’t give many bad reviews but I’ve been customer of but my recent experience was disappointing. I went in to pick up my medications and had a question about one that my doctor changed to an injectable. After waiting for Brent to come out for about five to ten minutes—during which I was the only customer—he approached me without a greeting and grabbed the bag that had my normal meds in them not the one I had a question about when I started to tell him I didn’t have questions in the ones in the bag They were the ones on the counter he told me to "just breathe." I was taken aback, as this is not how you speak to a customer. As a business owner myself, I would never treat a client that way. I felt dismissed and unheard as he continued to remove medications from my bag

Excellent customer service from Adam. I needed my dogs Vetmedin medication (which is perpetually on backorder from the manufacturer) in a hurry and within less than 48 hours of being called in by my vet, the rx was delivered to my home! Couldn't be more pleased and will definitely use again.

I started using this wonderful pharmacy by the recommendation of our veterinarian. Our dachshund has IMHA & needs daily compounded medication. I was getting it at a compounding pharmacy in Montecito (we live in Goleta, so it's a bit of a drive & they never ONCE had it ready when they'd promised), but they didn't offer capsules. Not only are the capsules easier than liquid, they're less dangerous & easily hidden in a pill pocket! The cost of the medication was considerably less than the 'other' pharmacy as well, even with postage. But alas, I've left out the best part. These peeps are efficient, kind, friendly & prompt. I highly recommend Central Coast Pharmacy!
