Unethical billing practices with a complete lack of transparency and communication. I had an appointment with Dr. Amreen Aziz of Catoctin Medical Group in July of 2024, after which she said she wanted to see me again in six months. I returned in January of 2025, was taken to the patient’s exam room and, when asked by the assistant what I was there for, I told her I had no idea, but that Aziz had said she wanted to see me again six months after my last visit. After looking into it, it turned out she wanted to check my A1C and take blood samples, which was done. Aziz then came in and talked to me for a few minutes while checking my blood pressure and listening to my lungs and that was it, the extent of my visit. Run away people. I'd leave a negative "star" review if possible. Hey doc Aziz, the door is still open if you want to return phone calls, review results from other firms that you gave referrals for, or just straight up follow through on your "job" / obligation as a medical physician. We recently switched and our new physician is reviewing reports from over 5 years ago. We are now, 5 years post finding out some very serious / concerning things never reported or conveyed to us. This is life altering and utterly unacceptable. If you care about yourself or your family, please find a new physician.

If you are looking for a place to go to every few years, this place is fine. But if you want quality medical care, RUN as far away as possible. I was forced here after my doctor passed away. PA Aziz is an absolute joke. Went in for an appointment she contracted EVERYTHING I said. She doesn't listen to anything you say. She just wants the money. She never helped me when I saw her, only made everything worse. She ALWAYS got my meds wrong, even though they were RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. She never did follow up blood work even when I asked for it, many times. She wanted to put me on MORE antidepressants when I told her FIVE others made me suicidal and I was not comfortable with them and wouldn't touch them. So she told me I was unable to be helped. Went to have simple paper work signed after providing all the info they needed. Really just a signature, and contact info, but refused saying I would need to be charged a regular Doctors visit for it. Utterly ridiculous!

I waited almost an hour past my appointment time to see my doctor (Julie). I understand that I am a "young adult", but I really don't appreciate being treated like I'm stupid and as if I don't know anything about a condition I've had my entire life. I came to get medication I've been recommended by someone I've been seeing for several years. She kept trying to convince me to "go to college" as if that would solve all of my medical issues. I found it very intrusive for her to tell me that I should "wait to get married and pursue my education instead". My life is none of her business and I feel very insulted by the way she pried into my life and the things she said to me.
