The facility is great! My husband came for rehabilitation. They ease your fears to leave your love one in there hands. The nurse was also knowledgeable and was able to get medication when needed. However, the real most valuable person was the aides. They checked on him addresses his needs hourly.
I’m not a permanent resident but the times I have stayed I have found the facility to be fine. No place is perfect and this is not a place of loyalty. Employees are caring and nurses do their jobs. What little interaction I had with the others was great. The food was delicious. I hate the bells had no rails and the staff barely have linen for residents to bathe with and material for incontinence. They need more CNA’s but please give them pay that they deserve. If I had to be permanent it would be Carver. Claudette Robertson
On December 1, 2025, I called to request medical records for my mother-in-law because we have not been given a clear answer of the medications she has been administered. During this call, I was spoken to disrespectfully and told that I was not “responsible” for her and therefore could not request her records. Despite the tone and manner in which I was addressed, I proceeded to ask my husband to make the request himself. When he called, he was told he would need to come to the facility to complete the paperwork. On December 2, 2025, we went to the facility and completed the necessary forms. My husband was told that we would receive an email with information regarding the request. As of December 5, 2025, we had not received any communication, so I inquired about the status during a visit wi
This was my first time visiting at Carver. When I entered, the person at the desk was most kind and helpful in giving me instructions. Going down the hall all the personnel and residents were friendly. When I arrived in the dining area my friend wanted more coffee. I was told there was none available there and someone came around periodically to offer coffee. None ever came while I was there. Barbara the physical therapist person came and took my friend for exercise. She was wonderful. She allowed me to watch. She then took my friend back to the lunchroom. It was about 12:15. I asked if lunch had already been served and was told to let the people at the desk know that my friend had not eaten lunch. I did this and waited until 12:30 with no lunch. I chose to go to my friend’s room to see if
I have been here more than once. First time the building was horrible, I needed information for a client and was given the run around for about 2 hours, then was told to speak to the executive director who knew I was waiting to speak with him and he walked out the door. Today, was much different, the front desk was pleasant. But the one person I remember the most was Montavia, I remember her because she was helpful with a smile. I asked her name so that I could mention her as why I gave an extra star. The building smelled better, not great but better. I had a hard time getting pass the locked door and several employees sitting was of no service to me so i waited and along came a resident in a wheelchair who politely open the door for me; that didn't sit well with me that no employee assist
