My kids have attended Carolina ped since they were toddlers , they’re 10 and 11 now . I never had any issues w the practice until recently . I’ve been going thru things personally that have caused me to lose my memory . I expressed this to their dr and She agreed to help me find help and as much as she could when it came to upcoming appointments. Well , she didn’t and I gt my very first no call no show . W me currently in school for criminal justice and a single mom of 6 at home I forgot about maybe 2 spots and they tried to drop me from the practice . The big boss allowed me one more. Hence but the dr that watched my kids grow up all of a sudden requested not to see my kids any more . It hurt more than anything bc I felt as if she really cared and understood my circumstances. I can not recommend CPNP Lauren Hudspeth and Dr. Hanko enough! They are thorough, proactive in preventive care, and always take the time to explain diagnoses and treatment plans clearly, never rushing our questions. Nursing staff is friendly and supportive. My sons have been going to this practice since we moved to Columbia in 2014 and the care has always been top tier. Dr. Kumar, Mrs. Brenda, and the young lady at check in are awesome.

I would and have recommended Carolina Pediatrics & Adolescents Care irmo office for the care of your children! They are outstanding! They are very helpful explaining treatments , when you call and need a appointment they fit your children ASAP, if you need specialist they help you find the right one. They care and go over and beyond for the welfare of your children. Excellent staff ! I trust them 💯 with my children.

My youngest sons have been with this practice since birth. Both were premature so their infant care looked a bit different. We have felt so seen and heard as parents. We see Dr. Ancona and absolutely adore her. She is extremely thorough but also gentle with our boys. Highly recommend her!
