Carolina Eye Clinic

Positives: I absolutely loved the doctor and the care she provided during my appointment. This was my second year choosing this office for my eye exam. The young lady working the desk was also very pleasant. Negatives: For context, I selected this office because it is close to my job and because they had my records from last year. However, I do not live in Durham. During my appointment, the doctor wrote the prescription for my contacts and gave me samples of that brand and an alternate brand. She told me to contact the office if I liked the other brand better and she would change the prescription. A few days later, I called the office and had to leave a voicemail. My appointment was very pleasant. From check-in to check-out, I was dealt with courteously and professionally. Dr. Naji and her staff were coping with very trying weather conditions, but I was seen at my scheduled time. One of the most pleasant parts of the appointment was the retinal imaging that was done rather than the time-consuming dliation/examination, thus making my drive home much easier and safer. I returned the next day to fill prescriptions for new eyeglasses and contact lenses. I'll return for all of my vision needs.

I saw Dr. Naji here and she was fantastic - very knowledgeable, professional, thorough and kind. She answered all my questions and was patient and informative. The clinic has newer machines that are very comfortable and I would definitely recommend paying extra for the retinal photography (which my insurance didn't cover) instead of traditional dilation. I will be returning to Dr. Naji for sure!

Honestly, probably the best experience I have ever had with an eye exam Since I first got glasses when I was maybe 12 or 13 (And I would definitely not count that experience because it was not great) Edit: I wanted to add as well that Dr. Nadji Was truly fantastic and helped me understand what exactly was going on in my eye other than the negative affect caused and what the proper name of said cause is! She also performed probably one of the best contacts lens test/fittings I’ve ever had and it truly does feel like I’ve got almost a new set of eyes, everything is much clearer and sharper, and I find driving at night much easier. Additionally, my eyes can now actually breathe a little bit instead of being sort of suffocated under A thick layer of the outdated type of contact I used to wear

Simple and fast. The doc that saw me was lovely and very kind. It’s also nice that it’s connected to a shop for frames. I was in and out in like 40 minutes
