Our family has been a part of the Carolina Children’s Dentistry of Sumter family for over 20 years, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. Our son, Bryson, was a patient at CCDS for 18 years, and when we welcomed our daughter, Ella-James, there was never a question—she would absolutely receive her dental care here as well. Dr. Poag, Dr. Martin, and Dr. Goins have consistently provided exceptional, compassionate care, creating an environment where both children and parents feel comfortable and confident. Even though my husband and I now live over an hour away, we gladly make the drive every six months because the quality of care and the welcoming atmosphere continue to be truly outstanding. Loved the whole experience. My four year old had to have anesthesia for work on some serious fillings. The whole process was about an hour from beginning to in the car heading home. We are thankful that my little one doesn't have any scared feelings about the dentist after such a big procedure. She is even excited about going back for a cleaning in 6 months!

This dentist office is top tier. All the employees have been wonderful, kind, patient and very knowledgeable. My little girl gets very nervous going to the dentist, but they ease all her worries with their up beat attitude and explanation of everything that is going on. I am so glad we switched from her first dentist. They are so encouraging and caring toward her feelings.

They dont care about the care of their patients. My daughter was there for fixing of a bad cavity, THAT WAS ALREADY RESCHEDULED 2 OTHER TIMES since NOV….. they decided to start with a different tooth (not the one we were there for) then said they are out of time and need to move on the the next patient. EXCUSE ME? My child was already sedated and ready but THEY needed to move on???? How rude and unkind and unprofessional. We will never be seen here again.

I absolutely love Carolina children's dentistry of Sumter. My oldest has autism and is now 18 and has been coming to Carolina children's dentistry since he was 6 or 7. Due to traumatic experiences for him at his previous dentist he became terrified just to go or see the dentist's office. After switching to Carolina children's dentistry they have been so nice and accommodating and allowing us to do sedation for his dental procedures. Everything always works outside and everyone is always nice and caring and they actually cater to the patient and family. Best choice there is in Sumter and surrounding areas.
