Carolina Bright Smiles consistently provides excellent care, proactive communication, and intentional solutions. Dr. Garrett, Dr. Vera, and Dr. King are exceptional in their field, compassionately bringing their years of experience to creatively help patients like me. I don’t have to worry about my care team, and neither should you. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!

I have severe dental phobia and usually experience anxiety or panic attacks during dental visits. Thankfully, I found an amazing hygienist here named Brittany who has been wonderful—patient, calming, and willing to use numbing gel on my sensitive areas so I can get through cleanings. She is the only reason I stayed with this practice. However, at my most recent appointment on October 3rd, I was assigned to someone else without warning. This triggered a full panic attack. When I asked if she could use numbing gel, she questioned me and told me it wasn’t in my file, and her tone made me feel dismissed and unimportant. I was so overwhelmed that I had to leave. Falsely advertises IV sedation option for patients with dental anxiety. Wasted my time and money making an appointment here. After calling first and explaining that I was coming here because they offered IV sedation, which they again verified that they offer on the phone, I worked up the nerve to go to the consultation only to be told by the dentist that they “don’t like” to have to do IV sedation because it requires scheduling an anesthesiologist, etc. Then why do you advertise it? Why did you tell me that you do it over the phone? Visiting this office really set me back in working through my dental anxiety and I would not recommend this office to anyone who deals with any form of dental anxiety.

About a year ago my regular dentist of 22 years detected after a screening that I had a severe gum infection forming from an older root canal. He suggested I visit Dr. Garretts office in Hillsborough. I called Carolina Bright Smiles office and was seen on Saturday. Yes...open on Saturdays. Dr. Garrett and his team worked tirelessly on a bone graft , temporary bridge piece and finally fitted me with a gorgeous implant. It was a year in the making but worth every visit and every dollar spent. Carolina Bright Smile never had misstep and I will be moving 22 years of files over to Dr. Garrett and his team!!!
