Carnegie Hill Pediatrics

I rarely write reviews, but after my son was seen by the CHP team at the last minute due to an illness for the umpteenth time, I felt compelled to leave a note. They are, said simply, just wonderful. Dr Goldstein is an angel sent from the heavens, as is their whole front office.

Fourteen years of amazing care for my two kids. Always available. Always knowledgeable. Always kind. Dr Freilich knows how to deal with any kind of uncomfortable situation and how to “tell” kids things in ways they can understand without hurting their feelings or embarrassing them. Very impressive (typed without my glasses- please excuse typos)

Carnegie Hill is an incredible practice. Dr. Barry Stein goes out of their way to make my children feel as comfortable as possible. I trust him implicitly. We are extremely happy with all of the doctors in the practice and I couldn’t recommend their practice enough!

As an informed non medical person and with a somewhat higher understanding of science, I do not typically question physicians. However, I have never been more disappointed in patient care as I have been with my daughter’s experience with the practice. For purposes of not being too harsh, I will leave the name of the actual pediatrician out. We chose Carnegie Hill due to its reputation of thorough care and concierge like access. Our daughter was born extremely prematurely, and upon her discharge after 3.5 months in the NICU, we wanted the absolute best. Unfortunately, we were met with ignorant, surface level medical care that warrants no other review than pure incompetence. Dr. Barry Stein is the best. He came highly recommended to me and I could not be happier with how he has taken care of my daughters. He is extremely knowledgeable, practical and patient. He is beyond thorough and I’ve never felt rushed through an appointment. I also appreciate how responsive he is – especially when we are not in the city. He makes an effort to genuinely connect with my girls and they love him. Everyone in the front office is nice and helpful too.
