I was diagnosed with graves disease back in 2008. The disease ruined the appearance of my eyes. My eyes bulged out and I looked like a completely different person. I became veru insecure. I hid away from people and could never look at anyone in the eye and always wore sunglasses. I was very confident before my eye disease but that eye disease took away all my confidence and I felt like an ugly freak. Dr Bernadino performed orbital decompression and eyelid surgery on me. i am very pleased with dr. bernardino. extremely nice doctor, empathic, knowledgable and explained procedures clearly and succinctly. plus, he was always on time--i had zero wait time which always reduces anxiety. he understood the problem with my tear duct and also my needle phobia. surgery on the tear duct was easy and effective, with minimal pain or trauma. also had an excellent anesthesiologist at CHOMP--dr. roxas.

Had an appt skin institute made for me I called just now with a question . Girl who answers the phone needs training. I asked does the dr do under eye surgery, “I don’t know ma’am” No I’ll transfer you, I’ll find out and have someone call you back nothing. We have Stanford coverage for a reason. Not to reach people who could care less. There’s a reason 1 star across the board. Cancelled my appt.

he completely destroyed my beautiful eyes by cutting and pulling up the medial canthus and shortening the lateral canthus and wouldnt even admit he had done so.he did a procedure on me meant for someone wiyh graves didease and left me disfigured and would never tell me exactly what he had done,even though i was awake as he was cutting the inner lid and pulling it up high leaving me looking like a frea.he absolutely did not know what he was doing.
