CareSpot Urgent Care of Fleming Island

CareSpot at Fleming Island was a Great Experience. Everyone was Very friendly and helpful. The Ladies at the front desk were informative and nice. The Dr. and His Assistant worked well together. They explained everything that they were going to do. The Dr. made sure that I remembered and understood his instructions as to how I would care for the sutures and my hand when I returned home.

The receptionist working the evening of 12/10 told us to go to another CareSpot in Orange Park because they didn't have time and it would be late before they could get to us. I asked if she could call ahead to the Orange Park CareSpot to see if they can secure a spot for us. She told us that she couldn't do that for us. She said that they had no one there and they could take care of us. When I got to the Orange Park CareSpot, the staff there told me she was supposed to call over and give them a heads up. She wasn't following protocol and simply refused to be of any help. Plus, the Orange Park staff said they had appointments and wasn't wide open like the receptionist described. The clinician and the staff must not have wanted to see anymore patients since we came in at 7 PM. Poor custom

Me and my family have been going to Care Spot on kingsley for over 10 years. They are fast, friendly, caring and caring regarding your situation. I haven't had not one bad visit. I appreciate each and every one of the hard working staff that put themselves on line to expose themselves to Covid, Flu, viruses and everything their exposed to care for us in an emergency. If you dont like them, take yourself to Hospital where you can sit for 6 to 12 hours and wait wait for help. I thank each and every individual working at the Care Spots on Kingsley and Fleming Island location. The provider was very thorough, checking if anything hurt to touch or with movement instead of only focusing on where I knew was ailing. He had a great bedside manner that made me feel comfortable (I'm female). If he was a provider I could see as my PCP ongoing I would! He explained well and I left understanding options.

This one star is only for the specific provider Shannon Paradise. Everyone else there has been fantastic, especially the radiology tech. I brought my 4 year old daughter in to be seen for a bad cough and fever that has persisted for 3 weeks. I was met with an arrogant, dismissive attitude and rushed through my daughter's visit saying kids cough especially when in day care quote un quote! She also refused to run any tests, stating that if her fever didn't resolve with Motrin then I could bring her back in and they would test for the flu. Three days pass with out improvement and she started complaining of chest pain so I took her to a different care spot and a different provider Jen at Orange Park location. She was very thorough and actually took her time and recommended a chest xray where
