My father has been at this facility many times due to falls and needing rehab, the nursing staff at the rehab wing are incredibly friendly and nice, the last time may dad was at this location they moved him to the other side of the building because he couldn't do rehab right away due to a fractured hip and broken wrist which I understand. My wife and I went to visit him a few days after he was moved to extended stay, the poor man could barely talk he was so drugged up in that section, I asked what the hell they were giving him and the nurse told me Gabapentin & 1000mg of Muscle relaxers 3 times per day. He was not supposed to have that medication this time, he was only instructed to have Tylenol as needed for pain, i got all the paperwork from the hospital when they released him in Novemb

My husband has been at Redstone for 7 weeks receiving rehab after suffering a stroke and I'm very impressed with the care he has received from the staff. Some of the negative reviews talk about staff laziness, and that has not been our experience. The CNAs take good care of my husband, making sure he's clean and comfortable. There is double the staff compared to the acute care facility in Ludlow he was in before coming to Redstone. The rehab therapists are very knowledgeable and encouraging, allowing me to take part in my husband's exercises. They have my husband up and walking on a daily basis, which is wonderful to see! The care staff are very cordial, always acknowledging my presence, calling me by my name. It's obvious the place is not new, but the custodial staff keeps all common area

I must say my father was happy with all aspects of his during his rehab stay. However my complaint is lack of communication regarding his discharge. During a care and wellness meeting for him, it was mentioned three times that insurance will cover him until the end of the following week. On Monday of that following week, all paperwork had been sent to his assisted living facility and a nurse from that facility came to evaluate him. By the end of the day he was ready for discharge. He was not discharged until THREE DAYS LATER. During that time I never received any communication regarding possible discharge dates/times. It wasn't until the assisted living facility called to inform me that they were going to pick him up! It's very evident to me that because insurance had approved coverage for

Thank you to everyone at CareOne at Redstone. I flew in yesterday and the Social Worker, Kara helped with all the planning and called me so I could speak with and hear my mom before I could make my trip there. Stephanie took such great care of cleaning and preparing my mom as if she were he own. Purée food was so thoughtfully given my mom. Manny gave my mom a beautiful ceremony with all the CareOne staff as he took my mom away. Many blessings to everyone who serves our families and loved ones. Thank you, Cassandra Neal and Family

When it comes to CareOne @ Redstone don’t walk away RUN! My husband was admitted on October 1st and I could not get him out of there fast enough. The employees on Kensington 2 had more excuses as to why they couldn’t help my husband than assisting. What I observed while I waited in a hallway was a CNA (Pearly) who refused to go into a patient room because the floor was wet (what if they fell?). All she wanted was a clean Johnny and she told her she got a clean one that morning then walked away. My husband wanted a clean sheet on his bed (which had been there for two days) and we were told we had to wait for the next shift to come on because they bring up the laundry! (What if someone got sick-they’d have to wait?). One night for dinner they sent my husband a warm shrimp salad-he refused it
