CareOne at Moorestown

I would not recommend Care One!! My 80 year old grandmother stayed here for about a month to rehab her broken hip. My biggest concern was the lack of attention from the nurse staff. My Grandma and her roommate were not checked on and if they pressed the help call button, it would sometimes take upwards of 20+ minutes for anybody to come check on her. I frequently heard other patients crying for nurses as well. Imagine if there was a serious emergency? That is neglectful and completely unacceptable. The exterior and entrance of the building is beautiful but the rooms are another story. There was paint chipping on the walls, bathrooms were scary, and the beds were so old that they were causing more added pain to her injury. The food was absolutely awful as well. Haven’t had much experience with rehabilitation facilities, but the I can’t imagine a worse experience than my dad had at Care One in Moorestown NJ. The nursing staff is useless and not only ignores your concerns and issues but they also refuse to get you in touch with the doctors when you need them. My dad contracted COVID while in the facility which extended his stay by 4 weeks. The facility had policies in place for handling COVID, but rarely followed or enforced those policies, like requiring masks be worn by visitors during the outbreak. He was there for PT but rarely received any. The PT he did get was good, but it wasn’t given often enough. He left Care One in worse shape than when he entered but I was so happy to get him out of that place. The best care he got there was from the CN

We have had my mom as a patient at CareOne Moorestown several times. Most of the staff welcome her and are so happy and remember us. One in particular. My mom’s favorite nurse is Falguni Patel. She is so caring and listens to mom and takes care of her needs. She listens and helps me understand as my mom’s caregiver. CareOne is a better place because of Falguni! Spent two weeks here following bypass surgery. Physical and occupational therapists were terrific and quickly got me physically ready for home. Medical staff were professional and courteous. Also pleased with the kitchen. Meals were very good. Overall good experience.

I was a patient of Care One the nurse and care staff were amazing. Especially Mirtha who was very much part of my recovery process. Always so supportive and positive. Also Donna always a smile. I would also like to acknowledge the PT staff Dan, Mary Ellen and Danielle. They were so invested in my recovery. It was the only type of management in the facility. I was extremely disappointed in the administrative process or should I say lack of.... When I arrived there was no welcome to the facility and again this was all provided by the care staff and PT. Social services was non existent called and got no response. My issue with the facility is the lack of overall management. Not in the particular departments but the facility itself.
