CareNow Urgent Care - Short Pump

We had a visit 12/12/25 and everyone was wonderful. The front desk staff (a man and a woman, I did not catch their names) were very welcoming when we walked in the door. Our nurse, Stephanie was wonderful! She was so attentive to our little guy and helped ease the process of all of the tests he had to get. Quick and easy visit with helpful staff makes it much better when you have a sick baby!

I have come here many times in the past and it was an amazing experience, very fast very nice workers. I was always treated fast and no issues. I came back on 1/3/2026 to get looked at. This experience was miserable for nearly the whole time. I will say though the front desk worker was very helpful getting my insurance filled out because I did not have my card. So that took around 30 minutes. Then I waited about 30 more minutes to get taken to a room, I was examined which took around 5-6 minutes and then was told the doctor would be the one to come next. I waited over an hour and a half in the exam room waiting for the doctor to come. The lobby barely even had any people in it so for it to take this long is ridiculous. Recently, I visited Care Now - Short Pump. I was diagnosed with bronchitis. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. John at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming right from the start. Stephanie, the nurse, was so kind and made me feel comfortable immediately. Dr. Samdani took her time, listened, and was very knowledgeable and reassuring. The place was clean, well run. If you have to be sick, it really helps to be surrounded by such kind, professional people. Thank you John, Stephanie and Dr. Samdani!

The staff is amazing especially Keyon front desk, but the online system is so flawed. It really should be evaluated and fixed. It puts an automatic time of arrival/drive time for you and when you get there your appointment says you missed it and you have to wait another 45 minutes.

Katrina at the front desk was AMAZING! She was so personable, kind and so friendly! She made the visit way less stressful than a regular doctor’s visit. I will come back because of her!
