CareNow Urgent Care - Cypress

I just left this facility and I was refused service. I have medical insurance but I guess it wasnt the coverage he wanted to accept.The guy at the desk was more concerned about getting paid than offering me the medical attention I needed. He told me if He started the process with the insurance card I gave him then I might have problems with billing and I might have to be responsable for the bill. I would have paid if I needed too.Could it be that I a woman of color ? I HAVE INSURANCE. HE OFFERED NO SUPPORT IN HELPING ME. I ASKED HIM SO YOU ARE REFUSING TO HELP ME. He jist looked away And there were 2 to 3 other people in the office and no one tried to help me. I am so disappointed in this medical facility.I have never been treated this way ever. Erica and Adrian were super nice !! Erica kept me calm cuz I was so nervous for the TB test & Adrian was just very nice at the front desk. I came in with my son earlier that day and it was my last day to take my test……thy were very accommodating considering I couldn’t have my son there while testing . Had to wait on his daddy to get him . Overall great experience. They were super sweet

Went to this place and the Asian lady doctor hear is super rushed. She barely asks any questions and is not sticking around for commentary. She walked in like she doesn't even want to be near you. The assistant is a distant as well. She gave vibe like don't get me sick, I'm just collecting a check. The lady at the front desk is very sweet, but I would still say choose another location and research credential of doctor....this lady is just running a check factory. The speed visit was totally disqualifying. 3 stars only because of the front desk lady.

They are always nice here but they seem to always be have system issues. Checking in and verifying insurance should not be that difficult. We’re coming in not feeling well and shouldn’t have add extra difficulties to our visits.

The staff, especially Erica, after having a bad experience at the barker cypress location they really listen to me and treated me with high professionalism as well as gave great treatment of my situation. I felt heard and wanting to be cared for with no judgment and an high level of kindness!! Highly recommend the Fry location of AFC!!!
