CARE of Southeastern Michigan

Went there for a trunk or treat event. Everyone was nice and pleasant The kids enjoyed themselves. Also if they had a wonderful presentation about the use of narcan and was given free narcan away to help the community. I love that they were making a positive impact in the community while also giving to the children.

Wish I could give no stars!!! If you DO NOT I repeat DO NOT TAKE THE Nurturing Parenting Class with Joe!! He’s a horrible facilitator!! Run very far, run to Care House of Oakland County to take this class of you can!!

I honestly felt discriminated. The last disrespect I got was. I was asked to leave cause I wasn't feeling good an wasn't participating enough in her eyes even though at a table across three people where doing what they wanted an not the assignment but they kinda chatted her up an she said nothing to them. I couldn't believe it. These people that run this from what I see seem like they are still learning on how to run there program. Also I cannot find a complaint number.The number I got goes to the front desk an they won't help me expose them.lol. anyway what a scam.

Great place! I was hospitalized last month due to substance abuse issues and spoke to peer recovery coach Rod while I was there. He was very kind and easy to talk to. After continuing to struggle, I reached out to the CARE office today to see if I could get any help finding an affordable rehab. The girl I spoke too (I can’t remember her name), helped me out and I ended up being able to get a grant to go to treatment. I will be going Friday(6/28/24) to finally get much needed help. I’m so glad I called her and was able to figure something out!

The ladies behind the desk helped me resolve a issue. I was treated with respect and they did everything they could to help me even though I was visibly frustrated they handled the situation professionally and I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10
