Carbon Health Urgent Care La Quinta

I can’t say enough good things about Carbon Health Urgent Care in La Quinta! I recently brought in my foreign exchange student for her first U.S. doctor visit, and the entire team made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely smooth and welcoming. Dr. Heather is absolutely amazing — kind, attentive, and always spot on. We’ve seen her multiple times, and she’s never given us a wrong diagnosis. She really listens, takes her time, and makes you feel cared for every single visit. The front office staff was wonderful, too. They were so patient helping us get everything set up with my student’s insurance, which was new and confusing to navigate. They didn’t make us feel rushed or like we were a bother — instead, they guided us every step of the way. A special shout-out to the

First -- Dr. Heather was GREAT!!! Nothing but amazing things to say about her. Her care, professionalism, 'bedside manor' , attention to detail and just overall fantastic way of communicating was refreshing and appreciated. If the review was just for her, it would be hands down10 stars!!! My heart goes out to her for having to work with the people she works with. Now...for the Carbon Health review: Receptionist was a curmudgeon. Not the welcome you want when you walk into an urgent care, especially when dealing with extreme pain. Did not provide receipt or copies of any information. Perhaps she would be better suited to NOT work with the public, especially in the medical field. staff was amazing! Loved the PA, Heather! You are very lucky to have her on staff. The center was so busy and they were so great. I waited over two hours from my appointment time. I didn't mind. Heather knew exactly what I needed and everyone was so kind. Thank you!

I have gone to this urgent care many times and have always had a pretty decent experience. The doctor is always friendly and kind and the wait isn’t usually too long. I made an appointment for my son today and it was crowded when I got there. The receptionist was rude, as resistant as possible with communication and stared at me funny when I didn’t know I’d have a copay and I asked if I could be billed. She told me I could not so I got a card and barely acknowledged me. She didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt, and barely looked at me when she was done. When we got called back my son was put on a chair without any of the normal paper on the seat. If it wasn’t for the kind doctor I would have given 1 star. Absolutely fantastic.. easy to make appointment, got in on time. Everyone was very courteous and efficient. Although it was not emergent I was not made to feel that the issues was no less serious. PA was reassuring and comforting. Never going to emergency room again!!! 10 Stars!!!
