Captivating Smiles Family Dentistry

I took my 5 year old son here for his first ever dentist visit today and I was floored by the experience. Both my son and I were nervous for the appointment (it was his first time ever, and I have dental trauma & was also nervous for him!) but we were quickly put at ease. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with a coffee bar and a TV. My son literally said he felt like we were still at home! They brought out toys and chairs for him to play with. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and professional! I was shown around into the back office to where my son was going to be and felt very comfortable leaving my child with them. They were patient & gentle, and let him pick a toy after! The dentist herself even came out to speak to me, shook my hand, and explained everything for my son's care plan. Juan

After an eight-month search for an adequate dentist, Dr. LeToiya clearly made me aware of her presence and availability by dropping into my DM. The demographics were right, so I cancelled an appointment elsewhere. The process of appointment setting was slightly cumbersome. However, the care shown on the day of service made me feel seen as a person and not just a patron, making all the difference. In this day of info and tech, the dental team freely shared oral and visual info relative to many of the practices/services rendered to the guests in their office-home environment. The care shown left me feeling uber comfortable during my service period. Very Rude and unprofessional. The Female dentist was very challenging. I was a new customer. I booked my appointment about a cleaning and tooth repair. They were mad at me for asking questions then questioned my ability to pay for services. I never paid the doctor before services were rendered. I’m never going back there again it didn’t feel welcoming. I hate to say it it’s usually our on people who treat us this way.

Deplorable is not even an adequate adjective for the general attitude and environment of the staff at this practice. My mother was mistreated today due to the continuous obnoxious behavior of the front desk receptionist. The numerous reviews echoing the same sentiment of the receptionist being a nasty person are nothing short of the truth! I once was a patient at this practice years ago and have had first hand discourse with the woman herself. Class, politeness, and etiquette are all qualities this woman lacks! In addition, Dr. Carter also spoke to my mother in a very hostile manner today when all she did was inquire about why she was being forced to both receive and PAY for an add-on to her service that she DID NOT request nor want! Over the past 24 hours, I’ve contemplated whether to make this complaint, but after reading other reviews and noticing that several patients have experienced similar issues, I believe it’s important to share my experience. I do not leave reviews to tear a business down only to present facts so the business has an opportunity to improve. However, mistreating patients and filing questionable claims cannot be overlooked.
