Dr Anna Strongin is wonderful. I highly recommend her! She is a good listener, very efficient, asks pertinent questions, considers responses, and takes great notes for reference. Dr Strongin is easy to talk with and is very clear with next steps and follow-up. Most importantly, I trust Dr Strongin and feel safe with the decisions we’ve made together regarding my health and family history. My recent endoscopy was performed at the Urbana surgical center. I was very impressed with the staff and the facility.

While the staff and my provider were accommodating, there are a few issues to note with my experience at the Urbana (MD) location. First, the (Waze) GPS directions were way off. I am unfamiliar with that area so when I was directed towards basically an open field it was annoying and stressful as I was going to my appointment at the time. I realize this isn’t Capital Digestive Care’s fault, but what was annoying with them was, in my panicked state not knowing were their office was at all at that point, I called the office to get directions. Unfortunately though, I got an automated message saying they were out to lunch until 1 and to call back then. My appointment was at 12:45, HOW could the entire staff be “out to lunch”, if my appointment was at 12:45? If I had arrived at the requested t

I would give the doctors 5 stars, but sadly the office staff is a major hurdle to getting excellent overall care. I had a colonoscopy with Dr Bhinder 5 years ago and he was great, but I didn't go back because I had so much trouble with his staff returning my phone calls, sending me information I needed, etc. However, I frequently and repeatedly received phone calls telling me it was time for a colonoscopy - so many I had to block the number like they were solicitors! I was planning to go to another practice, but I recently became acutely ill and needed to be seen quickly. This time Dr Hussain was willing to care for me quickly and set up the diagnostic procedures I needed. However I'm having the same, if not worse issues with getting anyone in the office to follow through with communicatio

All the staff at this practice are knowledgeable and well trained. The front desk staff guided me through the check in process kindly and make it very easy. The nurse was helpful and listened carefully to my symptoms. And Dr. Strongin is an absolutely one of a kind doctor! She remembered details from my previous issues, listened so well and asked lots of pertinent questions. She was very knowledgeable about my symptoms, and suggested a plan of action that would help her to gather more data about what was going on. Dr. Strongin always involves me in the plan and wants me to be comfortable about it. I have been having an incredibly difficult time, but her plan to gather more data made me feel so comfortable. Dr Mark Gloger will be missed for his over 30 years of service. I'm proud to state I've been a patient that long. I'm thankful I've been in his care. Happy retirement!!
