Canandaigua Urgent Care - Thompson Health

I just wanted to say how much I appreciated the staff at the urgent care tonight. I hadn’t seen my middle schooler all day because he had his programs and activities going on and he finally got home later in the night towards 645pm, he had something going on with his chin making it super swollen. I hate going in anywhere last minute and I wasn’t sure exactly how serious this was and I knew I’d stress myself out all night long if someone didn’t look at it. Going somewhere late before it closes gives me anxiety but each staff member was super understanding and kind. Thank you so much.

I don’t understand how the front receptionist does check-in but mis genders and uses wrong pronouns for patients. When it clearly says preferred pronouns on wrist tag. Need more gender inclusive employees nurse super aggressive. Should use more care with patients. Very unprofessional to discharge a patient, then call them about with bad results and make them come back because your in a rush…

Brought my girlfriend here this evening, October 13th 2025 5:40pm. What an absolute wonderful staff.. So respectful and caring. Angels do exist.. Thank you Urgent Care Staff! Go Giants 😉

First off this was the first urgent care they seen me right away. The receptionist was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable! Then the nurse seen me right away and she was great as well! But dr Pitler has to be one of the most friendly and helpful doctors I’ve had in a long time. Explained everything he had to do and made me feel super comfortable! Thanks very much all for the great care

1/10 for HOLLY GREINER FNP. All other staff 10/10. My experience with my NP and all staff was wonderful but my boyfriends was not the same. We went in together because we had the same symptoms same illness and both had pink eye I was getting over mine and his was starting and we were trying to be proactive because we both work full time and cannot afford to miss work. HOLLY GREINER FNP is extremely unprofessional and rude and did not listen at all. Spoke to us like we were uneducated and beneath her. I was prescribed antibiotics doxycycline that helped me feel better and cleared out my sinuses we were calling to see if he could be prescribed the same. We asked my sister who is a licensed Physician Assistant what we should do since we have the same illness and she said call urgent care back
