Camp RISE

Camp RISE is nothing short of amazing! My daughter has attended the past 2 summers and when she wakes up each morning excited to go to camp, it makes this mama's heart so comforted and happy. Founded by a Speech Language Pathologist & Occupational Therapist (Janelle and Claudette), with hearts so full of compassion and love for individuals with special needs, these ladies and their camp staff make every day engaging, exciting, and fun, all while helping our kiddos learn and grow in their beautiful new facility. There's no other summer camp like Camp RISE. I feel 1000% comforted knowing when my child is in their care, she is loved, respected, appreciated, engaged in activity and safe. This is my son’s second year of attending camp rise and he loves it!!! They are always sending home projects they did during the day and have different activities such as pet therapy and fire trucks coming to camp! I love the staff, everyone there is pleasant and happy to be there!! I drive 30 minutes and it is worth every minute because by the end of the day my son is worn out and wants assurance he has camp tomorrow!! Highly recommend! As a mom of a kid with special needs it such a relief to know my son is loving his environment and the people there are loving on him!!!!

We have been going to camp R.I.S.E since its inception. This is a much needed and much appreciated inclusive space for exceptional children. An added bonus is that this camp is run by two incredible women who are each professionals in fields that directly impact our children (occupational therapy and speech therapy). How lucky are we to be able to send our child to a place where they include speech and OT activities within the camp’s schedule. This camp allows your child to receive the support they need during the summer while offering an opportunity for them to still have fun. It’s a win/win for me. I’m truly grateful to have a place like this to send my child to each summer. Thank you camp R.I.S.E.
