The office staff was very friendly, but that quickly went out the window the moment we met the doctor. He didn’t say hello when he came in, barely acknowledged me or my 2-year-old daughter, and immediately started suggesting tests before even performing a basic exam. We had already paid $110 just to be seen, yet the doctor didn’t even check her ears, throat, or anything before recommending we spend more money on additional tests. I understand urgent care centers are meant to be quick, but a basic exam should come before recommending tests especially for a child. At the very least, look in a kid’s ears before jumping straight to testing for COVID or anything else. I have had only great care here. I came in with chest pain and immediately and EKG was done, Dr. Rass was on the phone with cardiology right away. I am new to the area and chose them to be my PCP. Everyone I have seen listens to me, and I feel very taken care of. Mary Newsome is an excellent provider and I was really happy with the male NP I have seen once. The office staff are kind also. Like family.

I called this urgent care to ask a simple question about their hours of operation and scheduling a sports physical for my daughter before school starts. Instead of receiving basic courtesy, I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism from an employee named Sara. Without even listening, Sara immediately told me not to bring my daughter in during school hours because they were open until 6:30 p.m., and that she would not be writing a school excuse for my child. When Sara finally stepped down from her soapbox, I had a moment to explain that my daughter’s school hasn’t even started yet and I was simply calling to inquire about their hours of operation.
