My children and I have been going here for routine cleanings since we moved to Hagerstown. The dental hygienists have been great, taking time to explain what they are doing during the visit. Dr. Byrd also extracted one of my wisdom teeth in the office. It was a smooth procedure and I had no discomfort afterwards. Everyone here seems skilled at what they do. They have been great with scheduling and getting the three of us in on the same day.

From an emergency dental situation to a deep cleaning and long term treatment plan, Byrd Dental has been wonderful in helping me get back on track with my dental care. The office has been warm and engaging, and my interactions with all technicians and dentists have been positive. Highly recommend.

If you battle anxiety and depression, I honestly would avoid this establishment at all costs. A couple months ago I had an appointment here for the first time. For months before that I was loosing my battle with depression so my teeth were not in the best shape. The male dentist came in to give me a cavity filling and I already have extreme fear of the dentist. Instead of telling me I was in good hands, he was making extremely creepy comments hinting about my appearance a total of 3 times. Then I went to a female hygienist (I think it’s called), and she was cleaning my teeth and examining them, in a very monotone voice, borderline shaming me for all the things she found wrong in my mouth.
