Buttercup Veterinary Hospital has been wonderful. The staff is consistently kind, appointments are always timely, and it genuinely feels like they care about my pets. Dr. Jensen and Dr. Schmidt are clear, informative, and very knowledgeable. I never feel rushed and always leave with my questions fully answered. My 8.5-year-old golden retriever, Roger, has dealt with Golden Retriever uveitis that progressed to glaucoma. After surgery was done elsewhere, the Buttercup team did an excellent job with post-op care and were incredibly thorough in addressing my concerns. Amber was our vet tech and was fantastic, as is the entire tech team and front desk staff. We have been clients of Buttercup Vet for almost 5 years. At the time, we lived in Cedar Park and had just brought home our first puppy. The attentiveness, patience, and care shown by the staff at Buttercup truly helped us become confident as first time pet owners. Since then, we have added another dog to our family and have moved out of Cedar Park. Even though our drive is now 30 minutes, we still use Buttercup for boarding, routine exams, and any ailments that do not require the ER. They have seen us through all kinds of doggy scenarios from teeth cleanings to allergies to illness. When one of our dogs first started displaying symptoms of IVDD this year, we were horrified and lost. Dr. Corcoran and her techs immediately knew what to do. My BostonTerrier Grand-puppy was attacked by a pit bull. She was terrified, as were we. Too late to get her into the vet the night it happened. We waited till the next morning, all I had to do was call Buttercup Vet tell them what happened. They got us in right away with no waiting. My normal vet is out on medical leave. The vet who took care of Dori was so tender with her was very Thorough. She made sure the inside of her mouth was ok. The swelling had begun the night before. They gave her antibiotics and a pain med. I’m so thankful for their great care of my grand-puppy. I can always count on the Buttercup Veterinary Hospital to take care of my fur babies with compassion and the best care.

Took my dog here to find out why he wasn't eating and sick all the time. I spent thousands so they could run tests to find nothing and tell me hes healthy. So I took him to Great Oak Animal Hospital they ran 2 tests. A fecal and a blood test just 2, and these were 2 tests I did multiple times at buttercup and they said it was normal. Well Great Oaks found with these 2 tests that he had 2 blood parasites from tic bites. So my sick NOT healthy dog has had blood parasites for over a year and nothing was done till now because buttercup charges you for tests but they get inaccurate results every time or they're not being truthful about what they found and keep charging you for this and that on a wild goose chase just to spend your money like the world isn't expensive enough. Doctor Cottier was wonderful, as always. She and Dr. Pittman have been our go-to vets for over 20 years, and we couldn't be happier with them. Kind, never rushed, compassionate, everything you look for when selecting a vet for your fur babies. Highly recommended.
