I ended up in the hospital for a month after I fall and then they told me after 30 days at they would have to drop me as a client. They were well aware of what happened and they told me that didn't matter. They told me to use home-based therapy which I wasn't interested in. My insurance company tried to contact them to see if they would take me back as a client and they didn't even have the courtesy to get back to me. You can't get in touch with him over the phone. They don't answer their phone and they don't answer messages. The therapist I had was pretty good but for somebody was only a year or two of experience you could do better. The person I had worked part-time at a nursing home with dementia patients. I was also dealing with a lot of chronic pain as a result of my tbi. Which basica

Buffalo OT has made a huge improvement in my life. Their therapists use repetitive techniques to improve my memory and balance abilities. And, it's working. I am now more sure-footed than I have been for many years. Also I can remember what I went into another room for. They are a great help and, I will continue to use their services as long as I can. I’m 72 year old and Being with Occupational Therapy-Amherst and their very professional staff has helped me regain strength in my hand and arm and has helped improve my cognitive ability …. I see Brook who is one of the most creative OT’s Ive met … she makes therapy fun but still pushes me beyond what I think I can do. Every week she creates different ways of using my hand(fingers) and brain at the same time . We laugh a lot and the hour goes by so fast ..she’s a great encourager which makes me want to keep going ..she researches things that would help me then prints them out for me ….. I would recommend them all to anyone … Brooks my girl but they are all just as knowledgeable in their field.. the facility has everything an OT would need and is very clean and well layed out . Each ses

I highly recommend Buffalo Occupational Therapy. I have been a patient of Michelle's for ten months. Not only do we work on memory and attention, but she also works on my leg muscles to improve my knee pain. I had a very, very painful fluid filled sac in the back of my knee that an orthopaedic doctor could not identify and relieve, I was very discouraged. I walked into Michelle's office and she felt it and told me she could take care of it. I had this ailment for at least five years, Michelle worked on relieving it to the extent that made it go away. She explained It was a fluid filled sac. Michelle is very personable, her entire staff is kind, friendly and commited to patient care. I intend on going to Michelle for a very long time to work through my leg pain and some minor memor

I have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease for 14 years. Due to recent issues affecting my mobility, I was advised by my neurologist to see an occupational therapist, quite frankly I had no idea what they could do for me. Fortunately I was recommended to Buffalo Occupational therapy, affectionately referred to as BOT! I had the good fortune of being assigned Hannah as my therapist she is very likable, compassionate intelligent and mostly a good person… she also is very flexible in my sessions, for example if there’s something about that week that is bothering me she’ll dedicate the session to that that issue. She is also a good listener and importantly provides specific advice and encouragement. So for anyone that needs therapy for either mental or physical issues I would highly r
