Buckeye Forest at Rosemount Pavilion

My sister in law was there for short term care due to dementia Everytime I visited it smelled like urine. My brother in law was constantly them because they wasn't doing their job in talking care of her hygiene. He was there every day. One day if he hadn't been there, they would've given her the wrong medication. An aid came in and called her by the wrong name and said I have your meds. ( She can't talk, so that could have been a disaster!) My brother said that's not her name. She then and only then checked the chart, and said you're right it's not her. So incompetent! They didn't do anything when he reported it. So glad when he took her out of there.

Some of the staff are great with the residents while some are rude. My mom was in that facility for years. I've had several issues with that place and have spoken with the ombudsman about an issue before. For a long time the issues were minor and getting fixed. But towards the end of their care, the level of service provided had fallen. There had been issues such as lack of sanitization, not refilling dispensers for a whole week, not giving my mom her required oxygen treatments, not making sure she had eaten enough, and not caring for a bed sore properly. She would be in the hospital as the bed sore would start healing. The moment she went back to the nursing home, it got worse again. She was in pain constantly. She recently passed away. I have a friend on East Wing in this facility and the staff is always kind, caring and attentive. The nurses are skilled and have the patient’s best interest at heart. Everyone that I have encountered has been wonderful and helpful, I would highly recommend for patient care! If you’re looking for a long-term, or rehabilitation facility, look no further than Rosemount Pavilion! You can trust that your loved one will be well cared for!

Had my brother here for Therapy. The staff was always nice and helpful. His call light was always answered in a timely manner. He said the staff treated him like family.

I've had many family members that were residents here and the nursing, therapy, and kitchen staff were beyond great to us. Very good people work there to make the residents lives better.
