I feel incredibly fortunate to live close enough to a place like Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital. This facility is truly a slice of heaven, where daily miracles happen just down the street. After surviving a severe brain stem stroke—and being denied adequate medical treatment elsewhere due to cannabis stigma and bias—I was blessed to secure a bed at Bryn Mawr Rehab. From the very moment I arrived, the staff was compassionate, empathetic, welcoming, and determined to help me rebuild my life. Many wonderful employees supported me along the way, most notably St. Maria Harris and the incredible Lindsay Grace Heatherington. Their dedication, along with the tireless work of so many others, echoes into the success stories of those who walk out of this hospital stronger than they arrived. Spec

This is a truly outstanding rehabilitation hospital. I’ve had a long relationship with this hospital with my own experiences, my daughter’s care, and visiting folks as a clergy person. My four siblings and I have all had knee replacements and the care that I received at Bryn Mawr rehabilitation Hospital was better than any of my family members.

Keep your loved one close to where you live. My sweetie was admitted after a huge stroke, but he could talk and was doing well. One night I got a phone call complaining they had to rush him to Paoli because " he threw up on the staff" Then Paoli ER calls saying he was dropped off with No notes, no nothing. He came with a brace on his back and no explanation. Turns out he had a fracture in his mid back. No incident report, and no one would return my calls from BM Rehab. He was transferred to a substandard nursing home, again with no communication with me, despite my health care POA on file. I tried calling for a week but no one from BM Rehb called back. He never really recovered. At 63 this brilliant man passed away Just be very careful with BM Rehab.

Was a patient here for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and hydrotherapy for three months. I worked with many of the trainers through my time there and loved every one of them. They understand chronic and ongoing pain.

Had a very good experience at Bryn Mawr following a stroke. Therapists were top notch and so helpful. Best advice to help facilitate continuing recovery.
