Brunswick Family Dentistry

I don’t have words for the amount of disrespect shown to me this morning at Brunswick Family Dentistry. I am a new patient and waited almost a year for my first visit. It’s been a long time since I have been to the dentist. A couple years ago I had to have a tooth pulled and had a very bad experience with that and get very bad anxiety with the dentist now. I have been trying to get into a dentist ever since then to try and take better care of my teeth. At my initial appointment in August I was told we would work on my cleaning and from there we would work on a treatment plan to fix a few other thing that needed attention. I went in this morning expecting a cleaning and when I was sat down I was informed that I would be having cavities filled and such. Im sorry I can’t help the anxiety whic

I see the negative comments about Dr D but yall sound like little school girls, putting someone down because they have a social awkwardness is not cool. At the end of the day we are lucky to have Dr D in our area, he does great dental work, he accepts medicaid, he is very gentle and compassionate with kids, he will stay late to help a patient, he works insane hrs cuz im sure he has tons of no shows and cancellations and he has lots of staff to pay. I was a little offended at first until I realized Dr D is just a quiet person and its a hell of a lot better then having a someone loud and obnoxious and aggressive 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have had multiple issues at this practice. There is one office lady who can be extremely rude. I was in the hospital multiple times lately and I had an appointment on a Monday so I could not cancel appointment ahead of time and they seemed to understand. A little afterwards I had to cancel another appointment but he was just going to “LOOK” at my tooth and I was still unwell but the rude lady fussed at me anyway. Because I canceled twice they have terminated me as a patient. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Dental feelings have had to be redone because it was not done properly and I’ve even had a tool fall in my mouth. Thankfully I caught it with my tongue and did not choke. I hate that my insurance is so bad that I had to go to one of the worst places here

I work in the medical field, and I’ve never seen such lack of care or effort an establishment- even when you try to work with the staff- as I experienced at this practice. Just know, If you “miss” two appointments, they will dismiss you as a patient. (even though those said appointments were ATTEMPTED TO BE RESCHEDULED to another day , due to my work, and a scheduling conflict..) And also- in my opinion, it’s very unprofessional to handle such matters through a literal text messaging system, instead of calling the patient to speak directly with them, regarding ANY status of their account.. Also, I’m not sure if the doctor is very “cold shouldered”, or “quiet and short-spoken” with all women.. but each and every time I’ve seen Dr. DeVito, he would barely speak to me. Devito is extremely rude and unprofessional!!! I don't give a flying #### about your personal or staff issues!! Ohhh boo hoo... your wife isn't working there for free... she's your wife! What's yours is hers!!! I wonder if she knows how you think she's your personal servant.... oh wait I'm sure she does. Treating my wife as though all of your problems are because of your patients is completely unacceptable!!! Everyone has problems in life at most times!! But most of us keep our heads down and most importantly our mouths closed!!!
